Joshua L. Frame, D.O.

Dr. Joshua L. Frame graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa in 1999.  He chose to specialize in Internal Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona in 2002.  He immediately joined the practice of Southwest Internal Medicine.  Dr. Frame is a certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine.  Dr. Frame and his wife, Charlotte, are the parents of five children.

Joseph H. Woolley, M.D.

Dr. Joseph H. Woolley joined our practice in June of 2008.  He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2008.  Dr. Woolley completed a dual residency in both Internal and Pediatric Medicine at Crieghton University Medical Center and the University of  Nebraska.  He is a certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine.  He and his wife, Melissa, are the parents of four children.

Jason C. Swigert, M.D.

Dr. Jason C. Swigert graduated from Oregon Health & Sciences University. After medical school, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Utah. He then served as an active duty Internal Medicine physician for the 56th Medical Group at Luke Air Force Base before joining Southwest Internal Medicine. Dr. Swigert is a certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Swigert and his wife, Nicole, have four daughters.

John J. Powell, PA-C

John J. Powell is a certified Physician Assistant.  John graduated from Utah State with two degrees, Psychology and Health Education.  John then graduated with a master’s degree from Brigham Young University in Exercise Physiology – Health Promotion in 1991.  He was the Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation in Price, Utah for seven years and then returned to school at the University of Utah to complete his Physicians Assistant’s degree in 2000.  John and wife, Lisa, are the parents of five children.

Karl R. Torgerson, PA-C

Karl R. Torgerson, PA-C received his certificate as a Certified physicians-assistant at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Karl’s board test score were in the top 7th percentile in the nation. Karl was nominated for Who’s Who Among College and Universities, 2010. He has been working for the last 3 years at the Enterprise Valley Medical Clinic where he treated patients from neonates to geriatrics. While there, Karl was taking care of patients with chronic disease as well as emergency trauma victims. Karl also served as the Medical Director while there. Karl is currently participating as an active member of the Utah Medical Education Counsel. Karl is native to St George and has deep family roots here in the community. While not at work, Karl spends most of his time with his wife and four children. Karl also enjoys biking and running.

Lyndee A.Miller, PA-C

Lyndee A. Miller is a certified Physician Assistant. Lyndee graduated summa cum laude from Utah State University with a degree in Kinesiology and an emphasis in Exercise Science. She spent several years in Logan, Utah working with the geriatric population before attending the University of Utah to obtain her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. While there, she had the opportunity to run the student outreach clinic at the Doctor’s Volunteer Clinic of St. George. Lyndee and her husband, Tyler, enjoy hiking with their dog and working toward their goal of visiting every national park.
